Is httperf available for Windows platform? 2. Need to test various combinations of httperf simulating browsers sending requests to a secure web site (SSLv3). Is it possible to simulate individual SSL connections? Similarly, simultaneous connections. 3. Can httperf be used to simulate x number of sessions/connections, so that memory leaks can be identified. 4. Measure the number of pages that can be sent/received in a reasonable time. Is there a httperf newsgroup that I can look at to see what other people have asked? Many thanks Kay McGinn _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. -- To unsubscribe: echo unsubscribe httperf | mail majordomo@linux.hpl.hp.com From httperf-owner@napali.hpl.hp.com Thu Feb 1 16:28:04 2001 Received: (from majordomo@localhost) by napali.hpl.hp.com (8.9.3/8.9.3) id QAA31952 for httperf-outgoing; Thu, 1 Feb 2001 16:28:04 -0800 X-Authentication-Warning: napali.hpl.hp.com: majordomo set sender to owner-httperf@napali.hpl.hp.com using -f Message-ID: <3A7A0B10.A1F0EB12@hpl.hp.com> Date: Fri, 02 Feb 2001 01:19:13 +0000 From: "Martin F. No, this mailing list is it for now. I do have an archive of all previous mails to the list. If there is interest, I should be able to make them available via ftp fairly easily. I realize that a web interface probably would be better, but I'm afraid that the corporate rules for putting up web pages would make this a less-than-trivial project, so ftp would be the most expedient solution. --david -- To unsubscribe: echo unsubscribe httperf | mail majordomo@linux.hpl.hp.com From httperf-owner@napali.hpl.hp.com Fri Feb 2 08:12:37 2001 Received: (from majordomo@localhost) by napali.hpl.hp.com (8.9.3/8.9.3) id IAA02961 for httperf-outgoing; Fri, 2 Feb 2001 08:12:37 -0800 X-Authentication-Warning: napali.hpl.hp.com: majordomo set sender to owner-httperf@napali.hpl.hp.com using -f Message-ID: <3A7ADA1D.6C1FDF05@acceleratetv.com> Date: Fri, 02 Feb 2001 08:02:38 -0800 From: Jason Lee Organization: AccelerateTV X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.75 (Macintosh; U; PPC) X-Accept-Language: en,pdf MIME-Version: 1.0 To: httperf@napali.hpl.hp.com Subject: Re: [httperf] General questions References: <14970.4565.817213.616319@napali.hpl.hp.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-httperf@napali.hpl.hp.com Precedence: bulk Reply-To: httperf@napali.hpl.hp.com Hi David, I for one would love to have a copy of the archive. I am starting to use httperf extensively and could use all the help I can get!. Also, does anyone have a statically linked Solaris 2.7/2.8 binary - I'll be damned if I can get it to compile, but see that others have managed it. Thanks Jason Lee David Mosberger wrote: > > Kay, > > Martin answered most of your questions already, so I'll handle the > remaining one: > > >>>>> On Thu, 01 Feb 2001 16:07:40 -0000, "Kay McGinn" said: > > Kay> Is there a httperf newsgroup that I can look at to see what > Kay> other people have asked? > > No, this mailing list is it for now.
